Baby Tooth That Has Fallen Out

Gently rinse the tooth with warm water, avoiding scrubbing, and hold it by the crown, not the root. Then, have your child try to place the missing tooth back into its socket until you can reach our office. If reinsertion is not possible, place the tooth in a cup of milk and bring it with you to your emergency appointment.

Broken Tooth

Children can experience a broken tooth for a number of reasons, including falls, spills, and biting down on hard foods. If your child’s tooth suffers a break, rinse the area with warm water before placing a cold compress over the face to reduce swelling.
